6. Uluslararası Bornova Kısa Film Günleri, dünyanın dört bir yanından sinemacıları kısa filmleriyle başvurmaya davet ediyor.
Türkiye’nin üçüncü büyük şehri İzmir’in Bornova ilçesinde düzenlenen festival, farklı coğrafya ve anlatılardan kurmaca, belgesel ve animasyon türlerinde kısa filmleri izleyiciyle buluşturuyor. Bu yıl kısa film başvurularına Ulusal Öğrenci Filmleri ve Uluslararası Öğrenci Filmleri kategorileri eklenmiştir (Detaylı bilgi için Başvuru Koşulları bölümüne bakınız).
Film gösterimlerinin yanı sıra festival kapsamında söyleşiler, atölyeler, sergiler, sektör buluşmaları ve Pitching Platformu gerçekleştiriliyor; sinemacılar, sektör profesyonelleri ve izleyiciler için üretken bir etkileşim alanı yaratılıyor.
Tüm festival etkinlikleri ücretsiz ve halka açık olarak düzenleniyor. Çağdaş kısa sinemada özgün, cesur ve kişisel anlatıları destekleyen festival, yeni seslerle buluşmayı heyecanla bekliyor.
The 6th International Bornova Short Film Days invites filmmakers from around the world to submit their short films. Held in Bornova, a district of İzmir, Turkey’s third largest city, the festival showcases short films in fiction, documentary, and animation from diverse geographies and perspectives. This year, National Student Films and International Student Films categories have been added to the short film submissions. (For detailed information, please refer to the Rules & Terms section). In addition to film screenings, the festival features talks, workshops, exhibitions, a Pitching Platform, and industry meetings, creating a productive space for interaction between filmmakers, industry professionals, and audiences. All festival events are free of charge and open to the public. The festival supports bold, original, and personal storytelling in contemporary short cinema and looks forward to discovering new voices.
Awards & Prizes
Uluslararası Bornova Kısa Film Günleri, filmlerin yarıştığı ve ödüllendirildiği bir festival değildir. Festivalin temel amacı, Türkiye’den ve dünyanın farklı coğrafyalarından kısa filme gönül vermiş sinemacıların filmlerini bir araya getirmek ve bu filmleri izleyiciyle buluşturmaktır.
Seçkide yer alan filmlerin yönetmenlerine dijital katılım sertifikası verilecektir.
The International Bornova Short Film Days is a non-competitive festival and does not present awards. The main aim of the festival is to bring together short films by filmmakers from Turkey and different parts of the world and to present them to audiences.
Directors of films selected for the official program will receive a digital certificate of participation
BAŞVURU KOŞULLARI
1. Festival, kurmaca, belgesel ve animasyon türlerinde kısa filmlerin başvurularına açıktır.Filmler için 20 dakika süre sınırı bulunmaktadır. Başvurularda tema sınırlaması yoktur. 1 Ocak 2025 itibarıyla yapımı tamamlanmış filmlerin başvuruları kabul edilecektir. Bu tarihten önce tamamlanmış yapımlar değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
Öğrenci filmleri, genel kategoriler (kurmaca/belgesel/animasyon) yerine Ulusal Öğrenci Filmleri veya Uluslararası Öğrenci Filmleri kategorisine başvurmalıdır. Aynı film birden fazla kategoriye başvuramaz. Birden fazla kategoriye başvuru yapılması halinde, filminiz değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
2. Başvurular yalnızca www.filmfreeway.com adresi üzerinden kabul edilecektir. Türkçe ve İngilizce dışındaki dillerde çekilmiş filmlerin İngilizce altyazılı olması zorunludur. Bu koşulu sağlamayan başvurular değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
3. Başvurusu kabul edilerek 6. Uluslararası Bornova Kısa Film Günleri seçkisine alınan filmlerin, kabul mektubunda belirtilen e-posta adresine 20 Mart 2026 tarihine kadar film dosyaları ve aşağıda belirtilen materyallerle birlikte gönderilmesi gerekmektedir:

4. Başvuru sahipleri, gönderdikleri filmlerin tüm telif haklarının kendilerine ait olduğunu beyan ve taahhüt etmiş sayılır. Filmlerde yer alan özgün olmayan metin, görüntü, ses, müzik ve benzeri unsurlardan doğabilecek her türlü telif hakkı ihlaline ilişkin hukuki ve cezai sorumluluk film sahibine aittir. Uluslararası Bornova Kısa Film Günleri bu konularda hukuki
sorumluluk kabul etmez. Film dosyasının gönderilmesiyle birlikte, başvuru sahipleri filmlerinin festival kapsamında
ücretsiz olarak gösterilmesine izin vermiş sayılır. Festival, filmlere ait tanıtım materyallerini basılı ve dijital mecralarda, web sitesi ve sosyal medya hesaplarında tanıtım amacıyla kullanma hakkına sahiptir.
5. Seçkide yer alan filmlerin eser sahipleri, filmlerinden en fazla 30 saniyelik bölümlerin tanıtım amaçlı hazırlanan videolarda kullanılmasına ve festivalin web sitesi, sosyal medya hesapları ve benzeri platformlarda paylaşılmasına izin vermiş sayılır.
6. 6. Uluslararası Bornova Kısa Film Günleri’nin başvurulara ilişkin verdiği tüm kararlar nihai ve bağlayıcıdır. Başvurusunu tamamlayan adaylar, bu koşulların tamamını kabul etmiş sayılır.
Rules & Terms
1. The festival is open to short films in the categories of fiction, documentary, and animation.The maximum running time is 20 minutes. There is no thematic restriction.Only films completed as of January 1, 2025 are eligible to apply. Films completed before this date will not be considered.Student films must be submitted to the National Student Films or International Student Films categories instead of the general categories (fiction/documentary/animation). A film may not be submitted to more than one category. If a film is submitted to more than one category, it will not be considered for evaluation.
2. Submissions are accepted exclusively via www.filmfreeway.com.
All films in languages other than Turkish or English must include English subtitles. Submissions that do not meet this requirement will not be evaluated.
3. If a film is selected for the 6th International Bornova Short Film Days, the selected applicant must submit the film file and required materials to the email address specified in the acceptance letter no later than March 20, 2026.

4. By submitting a film, applicants declare and guarantee that they hold all necessary rights to the submitted work. Any legal or criminal responsibility arising from copyright infringements related to text, images, sound, music, or other materials used in the film rests solely with the rights holder.The International Bornova Short Film Days cannot be held legally responsible for such matters.
By submitting the film file, applicants grant the festival permission to screen the film free of charge within the scope of the festival. The festival is authorized to use film-related promotional materials for promotional purposes across printed and digital platforms, including its website and social media accounts.
5. The rights holders of selected films are deemed to have granted permission for up to 30 seconds of footage from their films to be used in promotional videos and to be shared on the festival’s website, social media accounts, and similar platforms for promotional purposes.
6. All decisions made by the 6th International Bornova Short Film Days regarding submissions are final and binding. Applicants who complete their submission are considered to have accepted all of the above terms and conditions.
